South India Schools cricket Association President John Amalan and Tamilnadu Schools cricket Federation General secretary Vignesh Majini has announced Tamilnadu state championship trophy (U-19) to be held from January 16th.

தமிழ்நாடு ஸ்டேட் சாம்பியன்ஷிப் (U-19) போட்டிகள் ஜனவரி 16ம் தேதி தொடங்க உள்ளதாக தென்னிந்திய ஸ்கூல்ஸ் கிரிக்கெட் சங்கத்தின் தலைவர் ஜான் அமலன் மற்றும் தமிழ்நாடு ஸ்கூல்ஸ் கிரிக்கெட் ஃபெடரேஷன் பொதுச்செயலாளர் விக்னேஷ் மாஜினி அறிவித்தனர்.

         

சென்னையில் செய்தியாளர்களிடம் பேசிய அச்சங்கத்தின் தலைவர் ஜான் அமலன்,  பள்ளி மாணவர்களுக்கான கிரிக்கெட் போட்டி ஜனவரி 16ம் தேதி  தொடங்க இருப்பதாகத் தெரிவித்தார். முதற்கட்டமாக சென்னை, செங்கல்பட்டு, காஞ்சிபுரம், கோவை, திருச்சி உள்ளிட்ட 16 மாவட்டங்களை சேர்ந்த அணிகள் போட்டியில் பங்கேற்க இருப்பதாக அவர் தெரிவித்தார். 8 நாட்கள் நடைபெறும் இந்த கிரிக்கெட்போட்டியின் இறுதிப்போட்டி வெளிநாட்டில் நடைபெற உள்ளதாகவும் கூறினார்.

இருபது ஓவர் கொண்ட லீக் சுற்றில் வெற்றி பெறும் வீரர்களுக்கு மண்டலம் மற்றும் மாநில அளவிலான போட்டிகளில் பங்கேற்கும் வகையில் சிறப்பு பயிற்சி அளிக்க உள்ளதாகவும் தெரிவித்தார். 

மேலும் ஜான் அமலன், விக்னேஷ் மாஜினி பேசுகையில் தமிழ்நாடு முழுவதும் கிரிக்கெட்டில் தகுதியும் ஆர்வமும் உள்ள மாணவர்களை தேர்ந்தெடுத்து சிறப்பு பயிற்சி அளிக்க இருப்பதாகவும், எவ்வித கட்டணமும் இன்றி அரசு பள்ளியில் பயிலும் ஏழை எளிய மாணவர்களை தேர்ந்தெடுத்து இலவச பயிற்சி   அளிக்கப் போவதாகவும் தெரிவித்தனர்.மற்றும்  மாவட்டம் தோறும் குழு அமைத்திருப்பதாகவும், அக்குழு பரிந்துரைக்கும் வீரர்களைக் கொண்டு மாவட்டந்தோறும் கிரிக்கெட் அணிகள் உருவாக்கப்பட்டு வருவதாகவும் ஜான் அமலன் கூறினார்.

தமிழ்நாடு அரசின் உறுதுணையோடு இப்போட்டிகளை நடத்த இருப்பதாகவும், அதற்காக தமிழ்நாடு அரசுக்கு நன்றி தெரிவித்துக் கொள்வதாகவும் கூறினார்.

Speaking to the reporters in Chennai ,John Amalan said Tamilnadu state championship trophy for school students will be starting from January 16th. 

In the first phase, teams from 16 districts including Chennai, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram, Coimbatore and Trichy are expected to participate in this tournamnet.Further  He also said "that the final match of this 8-days cricket tournament will be held in abroad".

 He also said, "that special training will be given to the players who win the twenty over league round to participate in regional and state level competitions".

Further speaking to the reporters ,John Amalan and Vignesh Majini said that special coaching will be given to the selected school students who are talented and interested in cricket across Tamilnadu. Also free coaching will be given to the Government school students.

 John Amalan said that, "a committee has been set up in each district to select the players and cricket teams are being formed in each district recommended by this committee".

 He said that TNSCF U-19 Tournamnet  is going to be held with the support of the Tamil Nadu government and for that he is very thankful to the Tamil Nadu government.
