KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS SILVER JUBILEE CELEBRATION AT CHENNAI MILITARY STATION

 

 





 

 

          On the occasion of 25th Anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Hon'ble Governor of Tamil Nadu Shri RN Ravi and General Officer Commanding-Dakshin Bharat Area of Indian Army, Lt Gen Karanbir Singh Brar laid wreaths at the Victory Memorial, Chennai today and paid homage to the brave hearts who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. Senior most officials from the tri-services and Indian Coast Guard in the Station, joined along to pay respects at the War Memorial. Kargil War heroes, veterans and Veernaris of Dakshin Bharat Area also paid respects to the fallen heroes by laying wreaths. Hon'ble Governor Shri RN Ravi interacted with the Kargil War heroes, veterans and veernaris after the solemn ceremony. NCC students also attended the event to celebrate the victory of the Armed forces.
