 CREDAI FAIRPRO 2023: Chennai Fairpro property fair begins 

CHENNAI: The 15th edition of CREDAI - Chennai Fairpro 2023 was inaugurated on Friday. The three-day event features plots, villas, affordable housing, retail, and commercial spaces from more than 450 projects in Chennai, Tiruvallur, Kancheepuram and Chengalpet districts, showcased by more than 70 developers.

The event was inaugurated by Credai Chennai president S Sivagurunathan, secretary P Kruthivas and past presidents of Credai Chennai. 

PSivagurunathan said, “Homebuyers benefit from low interest rates, on-the-spot home loan approvals and maximum funding on 450+ projects in Chennai. During the Home Loan Mela held ahead of the expo, loans to the tune of Rs 700 crore were sanctioned by SBI, Indian Bank, Canara Bank, LIC, and HDFC." This was the ideal time to purchase property as property values were expected to rise in the near futurerakash Challa, Chitty Babu, Sandeep Mehta, Ajit Chordia, Suresh Krishn, Habib and Padam Dugar at Chennai Trade Centre in Nandambakkam on Friday.

Five lucky winners, among those who book property during the three-day fair, will be selected through a draw and given Rs 1 lakh each by CREDAI Chennai.

Kruthivas said, “We’re all set to witness some interesting developments over the next few years in the housing and real estate scenario. The good news is that India is expected to sustain its growth momentum in real estate, despite the current global slowdown. The year 2022 saw a phenomenal performance, with sales records of 68% YoY, all over the country. And, last year, Fairpro saw 250+ bookings, with a turnover more than Rs 200 crore. Although more than Rs 300 crore is our expected sales target this year, I really wouldn’t be surprised if we surpass those numbers this time.”
